This is really my first post to this blog, and will just be used to give updates on what i'm working on, investigating or just general news.

I've recently started looking at starting to build some web applications with the Adobe Flex framework.

Flex is similar to Adobe Flash, but geared towards Programmers rather than Designers. It still runs using the commonly used Flash browser plugin, so its accessible across a wide range of browsers.

Flex provides a way of building web-based applications really quickly, which will cut down on development time, and therefore the costs of building a custom web application will be reduced.
