Tartan Cactus Web Design is now offering e-commerce website design.
By using the Magento platform (http://www.magentocommerce.com/showcase), we can offer all the usability, security and appearance of the free software, but tailor your website to your own visual requirements.
Magento is installed alongside an Administration panel which enables website owners to update their own product lists, change categories etc, and is very easy to learn, and very easy to use.
There would be an initial cost for the design and installation of this software, but the day to day maintenance could then be done by the website owner without any help from a developer like myself.
The only costs after this would be a yearly hosting charge (currently £15), and the cost of any enhancements that you would like made.
